Our Little Orange Oasis

Learning through Play We are learning more about each child every day as we watch them through their play! We have friends who are counting as high as 13, we have friends who are thinking of new ways to use toys in the room, we have friends that are achieving new skills with gross motor development! We have friends who are well on their journey to potty training!  We love learning about your child every day and we love learning with your child everyday.  Joen and I would like to thank you for trusting us with your child's safety and education everyday. We love each of your children dearly and it is a true joy to have them in class everyday.  We look forward to seeing you all after break!  

Snow!  We invited all our friends over to look out the windows and doors and see the snow! We noticed how the wind was blowing and the snow was flying! We saw the snow go really fast! Our whole playground was covered in snow! When we woke up from nap we looked outside again.... the snow was GONE! We asked "Why?" to our teachers. Our teachers told us how when it gets warmer the snow will melt away and when it snows a little bit it melts quick. (SC2.2,ELA 1.3)  

                     Dreidel,  Dreidel, Dreidel The Olive Classroom invited us over to spin their dreidel! This was so much fun! Each friend took a turn spinning the dreidel. We also read "Where is the dreidel?" and sand dreidel, dreidel, dreidel. (CA1.1,SC1.1)

                             Chanukah Party We were invited to the Oak classroom for a Chanukah Party! We were able to play with our friends and siblings in the Oak classroom. Three of the Orange students have siblings in Oak. We were able to make latkes and donuts in the kitchen and set the table. We also pretended to light the menorah. Friends were able to color dreidels and make pictures using Chanukah stickers. We played with playdough and kinetic sand. There was so much to do! Thank you Oak Classroom for the invite!!
