Our Little Orange Oasis

Hanukkah Gelt Gelt is money or chocolate coins given as gifts during Hanukkah or won in a game! We have been making our own Gelt and Dreidels to play with at home. (PHG 2.1, CA 3.1).  

We had a great time in the BMR and starting to learn about Hanukkah! We are excited to learn more about Hanukkah over the next few weeks. (SW4.1, ELA 1.3)  

Playground We love going to the playground every day! When we get ready for the playground we practice life skills like trying to put our jacket on by ourselves! We follow safety rules by being careful when we exit the classroom and enter the playground! We work on social skills by asking for a turn, trade, or waiting our turn with something. We explore the natural world and the environment and it changes throughout the year. We really love our playground and all we can learn while we are outside! (SS5.1, PHG1.2) BMR We love to ride bikes in the BMR. We are practicing how to pedal a bicycle. We can go around friends if they have stopped moving their bicycle. If we get stuck in a traffic jam we can ask for help! (PHG3.1)  

The orange class had so much fun playing in the rain! We played music and danced and we even found a few puddles to jump in! (PHG1.2,PHG 3.2)
